Estimating the net worth or salary of a celebrity can be a guesstimation job at best. However, on occasion, an actual payslip or other documents that verify their income may surface. This has now happened to “Chicago Fire” star Miranda Rae Mayo, whose “One Chicago” salary has come to light thanks to an ongoing legal dispute with her former talent agency, Spectrum Productions, which is suing her for an alleged unpaid sum of over $231,900 (via The Blast).
According to the documents related to the case, Mayo, who plays Lieutenant Stella Kid in the show, earns $75,000 per episode, having renegotiated her contract to its current status after “Chicago Fire” Season 10. Since “Chicago Fire” tends to have between 22 and 24 episodes per season, this would make her annual earnings a very respectable $1.65 million, at the very least, excluding other revenue streams and assuming she doesn’t appear in any “One Chicago” crossover episodes.
Hard work pays well
The new information about Miranda Rae Mayo’s salary isn’t the first time a “One Chicago” star’s income has been discussed online, but it might be among the more reliable reports on the subject. For instance, wealth estimation site Celebrity Net Worth has reported that “Chicago P.D.” star Jason Beghe makes as much as $250,000 per episode. If true, this would put his base pay from a 22-episode season at $5.5 million.
