Davis Junction twins take primetime spotlight on ‘Chicago Fire’

DAVIS JUNCTION (WREX) — A set of twins from Davis Junction stole the show on this week’s episode of ‘Chicago Fire.’ Jade and Olivia Peterson made several appearances throughout the episode, a key part of this week’s storyline. The opportunity came about when Cara Peterson, the twins’ mom, sent in their pictures to a casting call for the show.

“The experience was so fun,” Peterson said, while holding her twins on a Zoom interview. “They were so nice to the babies. Everybody was awesome on set. So friendly and it was so much fun.”

The nine-month-old twins had no problem being on set, working with multiple actors in the show, even getting passed around from person to person in some scenes.

We may not have the next Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen on our hands, but Jade and Olivia Peterson took advantage of their moment in the spotlight, giving the family from the small community of Davis Junction a taste of the big city spotlight.
