There’s an emergency at a dialysis center in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 8. Take a look at everything to expect in the new episode.

It’s very clear in Chicago Fire that the new paramedic chief is not just after Violet. She’s after the whole of Firehouse 51. This puts everyone at risk.

Chief Boden brought up a complaint that had been put in against Violet. Then it turned out that there was a complaint about Severide and others allowing a civilian to stay at the firehouse—a civilian who was under Firehouse 51’s protection due to a gang. Carver also pointed out that the new paramedic was going on about how Mouch wanted to change building codes, so Boden should expect something about that.

Of course, that has to come up again in the new episode. The synopsis tells us that it will, and it looks to be an ongoing storyline for a few episodes. There’s always someone going up against Firehouse 51—and they always fail!

There’s a lot to take in for the new episode, but the promo focuses on one particular situation. A call at a dialysis center turns into something far more serious. It turns into a hazmat situation. Kidd gets her guys out of the place along with the civilians so that Severide can get his guys in to tackle the growing situation.

There is a lot of smoke. This could lead to the building exploding. Squad 3 will need to get the situation under control as soon as possible.

What to expect on Chicago Fire this weeek (S12E8 preview)

“A hazmat call at a dialysis center leads to a shocking discovery; Boden clashes with Paramedic Chief Robinson; Carver notices a concerning change in Gibson’s behavior.”

The synopsis goes into a lot more detail of other storylines. Yes, there is a focus on the hazmat situation, but we also get the confirmation that Paramedic Chief Robinson will continue to be a problem. Boden decides to confront her. He will always protect Firehouse 51.

What is Robinson’s problem, though? At first, I thought it might be connected to Violet’s relationship with Chief Hawkins. However, it seems like there is something much bigger going on. This almost seems personal.

As all that goes on, we’ll get to see more of Gibson. His behavior changes in this episode, which is something that Carver notices. Is this guy actually working with Robinson as well and doing a better job of hiding it, or is something going on in his personal life and he needs Firehouse 51’s support for it? I really hope it’s the latter; I like Gibson.
